When I began looking for residencies in the Western Massachusetts and Connecticut area to be near my husband I was new to the area and had some very specific goals. Desiring first of all excellent basic training to best serve all patients, I was also interested in pursuing further training in global medicine, women's health and preventive and lifestyle medicine. Never expecting to be able to work toward all these goals in residency I was very excited to learn about Middlesex Hospital and its four-year Family Medicine Residency Program with more electives and specialized tracks. Impressed with the training, concerned and involved faculty, satisfied residents and unopposed residency program I knew I had found my ideal program.
