After completing my core rotations I was confident I wanted to pursue a career in family medicine. The specialty was a natural choice for me because I developed particular interests in alternative medicine, preventative care, and substance use disorders. I selected Middlesex Hospital after an incredibly warm and receptive interview. There was a true sense of camaraderie that the residents, faculty and staff seemed to share. It was apparent that this program included an exceedingly vibrant group of people; the faculty involvement was strong and the curriculum was challenging. In addition, I believe that Middlesex’s upcoming participation in the P4 initiative reveals the program’s integrity and commitment to training the best family physicians possible. I am extremely proud to be a part of this unique program.
What’s New? P4.
